Caring for people and supporting communities has been the foundation of my professional life. Before entering State Parliament, I spent more than three decades working across healthcare, education, leadership and business, building a career centred on compassion, advocacy and improving outcomes for others.
As a Registered Nurse and healthcare leader, I developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing individuals, families and healthcare providers. This experience led me to establish My Care Enterprises + Home Hospice, a service dedicated to supporting people and families through some of life’s most challenging circumstances while delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
Alongside my healthcare career, I have remained passionate about leadership, education and community service. My experience as a business owner provided valuable insight into the realities faced by small businesses, employers and community organisations, reinforcing the importance of practical leadership, strong relationships and sustainable growth.
In 2024, I was elected as the State Member for Redcliffe, providing an opportunity to advocate for the people, businesses and community groups that make our region such a vibrant place to live and work. I work closely with local stakeholders to support initiatives that improve healthcare access, strengthen community wellbeing, encourage economic development and deliver the infrastructure needed to support a growing population.
I believe strong communities are built through collaboration, compassion and a willingness to listen. Whether in healthcare, business or public service, my focus has always been on creating positive outcomes and helping people thrive.
