Great businesses are built by great people. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating customer-focused businesses where teams thrive, cultures are strong and people feel genuinely supported to achieve their goals.
My entrepreneurial journey began at 22 when I opened my first swim school. Since then, I have owned and operated businesses across multiple industries including education, hospitality, building, consulting and fitness. Each experience has reinforced my belief that sustainable success comes from investing in people, building strong cultures and creating exceptional customer experiences.
In January 2023, I purchased my first Fernwood Fitness club with nine team members and approximately 540 members. In just two years, that business has grown into two thriving Fernwood locations at North Lakes and Morayfield, employing more than 50 people and supporting over 2,200 members on their health and wellbeing journeys.
I am deeply passionate about leadership, culture and helping women realise their potential. Whether supporting team members to grow their careers or helping members build confidence and improve their wellbeing, I believe success starts with creating environments where people feel valued, empowered and supported.
The growth of our clubs has been recognised across the fitness industry, with Fernwood North Lakes receiving the 2024 AUSactive People’s Choice Medium-Sized Business Award, and my selection as a 2025 AUSactive Franchisee of the Year Finalist. Our success is a reflection of an incredible team that shares a commitment to excellence, service and community.
My personal journey has also shaped my leadership philosophy. Through life’s challenges and triumphs, I have developed a deep appreciation for resilience, gratitude and the importance of showing up for others. Today, I lead with empathy, high standards and a genuine commitment to helping people become the best version of themselves.
