Accounting and advisory firm Evergent has joined Moreton Daily Group as a Strategic Partner, bringing its business expertise and growing national network to the partnership.

The firm has 10 franchisees across Australia and plans to welcome franchisees in the City of Moreton Bay over the coming months.

Founder and CEO Lucas Helmke said Evergent’s approach starts with understanding what business owners want to achieve and working backwards from there.

“We focus on the business owner and what they actually want to achieve out of that company, then work backwards from there,” Lucas said.

“We’re focusing on the end result first and then utilising our accounting skills to deliver for the business owner.”

Evergent provides accounting, bookkeeping, management reporting and advisory services, with a strong focus on cash flow and practical decision-making for business owners.

Based on Bribie Island, Lucas works with businesses across the City of Moreton Bay and said joining Moreton Daily Group as a Strategic Partner was a natural fit.

“I saw what Belinda and the team were doing here and I said that’s exactly what the area needs and I have to be a part of it,” Lucas said.

He said Moreton Daily Business could also help business owners stay connected to the wider business community, particularly those who do not always have time to attend traditional networking events.

“I don’t think there’s anything out there at the moment that brings business owners together to do business with each other. The Moreton Daily Business platform is purely that, a business platform for businesses.”

Moreton Daily Group Partnerships Manager Lyndsay Lawler welcomed Evergent to the Strategic Partner network.

“Lucas has a strong connection to the local business community and understands many of the challenges business owners face as they grow,” Lyndsay said.

“Evergent is also on an exciting growth path, so we’re looking forward to sharing their expertise with our business audience and seeing that local and national networks continue to develop.”

With plans to grow its local franchise presence, the partnership gives Evergent another avenue to build connections and share its expertise with businesses across the City of Moreton Bay.
