Creating sustainable solutions to food insecurity has become my life’s purpose. Through The Mini Farm Project, I transform underutilised spaces into productive urban farms that grow fresh food for people in need while creating opportunities for communities, businesses and volunteers to make a meaningful difference.
Founded in 2014, The Mini Farm Project was built on a simple belief: those of us who have benefited from opportunities in life have a responsibility to give back. What started as a passion project has grown into a community-driven initiative that combines urban agriculture, sustainability and social impact to help address food insecurity across South East Queensland.
Alongside my work in community impact, I have spent many years building experience across business, leadership, training, hospitality, sustainability and management. These experiences have shaped my belief that long-term success is built on trust, service, strong relationships and genuine community contribution.
In 2025, I was honoured to be elected President of the Greater Caboolture Chamber of Commerce after serving on the Chamber Committee. This role allows me to support local businesses, strengthen regional connections and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the Caboolture business community.
I am also an active member of the Fundraising Institute Australia, Business Buyers Club and BNI Gateway, continuing to build partnerships that create positive outcomes for businesses and communities alike.
Whether through food production, volunteering, fundraising or business leadership, my focus remains the same: helping people, creating opportunities and leaving communities stronger than I found them.
